"Myths from Everywhere" Annual All SK Play in pics!

The audience waits in anticipation!

An element of deception is common in a myth.

Anansi the Spider was a trickster and often fell into trouble. Kindergarten spider sons (and daughters) came to the aid of their father, Anansi.

Director Karl, what's my motivation?

West African Ashanti "adinkra" symbols enhanced the scales of Swallowing Fish.

Stone Thrower sons were at the ready with perfect aim!

Spider son, Cushion, was a K favorite...nice and soft.

But who will receive the reward for saving Father Anansi?

The Moon is placed in the sky as a prize for all because of a job very well done.

Mrs. Carpenter's 1/2s told of a tale of a chance encounter.

Elaine's 1st and 2nd graders had us traveling to high places.

We couldn't help listening to the haunting but beautiful songs of the Sirens.

Spencer's class wrote and performed their very own new mythological story of the Polynesian demi-god Maui.

Sam and Jason's 5th/6th Graders had us on our feet and knees.

The attentive Chorus provided clarity (and script support.)

A very special THANKS to our Kindergarten Mom duo and all of our SK  families for assisting with creating props, gathering costumes, and stellar attendance at performances!
